Each year, the Alzheimer's Association hosts a State House Advocacy Day in Raleigh, NC, a time for caregivers and advocates from across the state to come together and give a powerful voice to our cause. This year's event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7th— and we'd love for you to join us.

Join us at the 2024 North Carolina State Advocacy Day Each year, the Alzheimer's Association hosts a State House Advocacy Day in Raleigh, NC, a time for caregivers and advocates from across the state to come together and give a powerful voice to our cause. This year's event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7th— and we'd love for you to join us. The Alzheimer’s Association in North Carolina is calling on state residents to turn the state capitol purple for Alzheimer’s. NC State Advocacy Day is designed to move legislators to action on Alzheimer's and dementia policy that will improve the lives of North Carolina families impacted by the growing burden of Alzheimer's.- Learn about the legislative process. Bring awareness to the importance of the Alzheimer’s Association's public policy priorities. Engage in discussions with elected officials. Tell your personal story to key decision-makers affecting policies for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. Your unique voice is more important than ever this year! We need your help to share why this cause is so important to constituents like you and your family members.
