About the Event
About Your Presenter: Jennie Griggs, BS, MA, is a Geriatric Specialist and founder of Aging Collective, a group of aging resources for business and personal needs. The collective develops and presents continuing education courses for corporate and educational clients.
As founder of Friends of Northern Wake Senior Center, Jennie promotes senior wellness by instructing several Evidence-Based senior fitness programs approved by the CDC. She works with Aging Care Matters as a Geriatric Care Manager and assists seniors with Medicare and Medicaid questions using her NC and SC Life, Accident and Health license.
Inspired by a quote from her favorite author, C.S. Lewis, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream;” at the age of 64, Jennie Griggs was accepted into the Aging Studies Graduate Program at Wichita State University was awarded the Charles W. & Margaret D. Mullikin Fellowship in Gerontology…
