About the Event
Sponsored by the Wake Forest Senior Information Networking Group (SING), Friends of the Northern Wake Senior Center, Brookdale Senior Living, and the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, this free, public workshop will feature several prominent experts discussing useful ways attendees can protect themselves, clients, and loved ones from financial, technological, and other types of fraud that typically impact senior adults. Among the topics they will discuss are healthcare fraud, marketing schemes, sweepstakes, lottery and internet scams, and many more. Attendees are welcome to come for all or part of the information sessions. In addition to Stein and Marshall, other featured speakers will include Wake Forest Mayor Vivian Jones and Wake Forest SING President Kathy Uveges, along with representatives from the NC Department of Insurance and the Wake Forest Police Department.
